AAC block (autoclaved aerated concrete block) is also known as autoclaved cellular concrete (ACC) or autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC). Aerated concrete were created by Hofman from Czech Republic in 1889 and were improved by J.A.Eriksson in 1923.AAC block is a unique and excellent type of construction material with cement, lime, silica sand and foaming materials as the main raw materials. The chemical reactiondue to the aluminum paste provides AAC its distinct porous structure, lightness, and insulation properties, completely different compared to other lightweight concrete materials. The porous crystalline AAC block is produced through high temperature, high pressure and steaming process and has excellent performance in fire resistance, anti-seismic, and warm keeping.
